2026-14 Julio De Caro instrumental tango tanda

Hello. For Week 14 of the year, I wanted to take a journey into the roots of tango — but don’t worry, we won’t go too far back. We will visit one of the pioneers of tango’s orchestral development: Julio De Caro.

When De Caro is mentioned, most people immediately think of his famous sextet. However, I prepared this tanda from his late 1930s and early 1940s orchestra. The reason is the album Tango Sparks TS 1.51 – De Caro Bailable, released on February 19, which sheds light on a lesser-known period of his career.
