In Week 30 of 2025, I presented a tanda built around Juan D’Arienzo with Alberto Echagüe. If you remember the notes from that release, I mentioned that it might well be one of the most listened-to tandas on YouTube (as of today it has 2.5 million views). For that reason, in Week 8 of 2026, I wanted to return to D’Arienzo and Echagüe with a previously unreleased tanda.
This time, just like in Week 4 of 2026, I chose to shape it as a thematic tanda. So what’s the theme? This tanda focuses on tango humorístico — tangos that carry wit, irony, and a touch of comedy, without ever losing their dance-floor power.
